Bats Blistered as Eaton Softball - JV Defeats Strasburg, 18-6

There were runs aplenty on Tuesday, as Eaton Softball -  JV defeated Strasburg 18-6.

Eaton Softball -  JV fired up the offense in the first inning.  Eaton Softball -  JV scored one run when Sophie Morgan singled.

Eaton Softball -  JV scored six runs in the fourth inning.  Eaton Softball -  JV's big inning was driven by singles by Morgan and Karli Havel and an error on a ball put in play by Amelia Bowden and Lina Cruz.

Stephanie Bingley got the win for Eaton Softball -  JV. The righthander surrendered six runs on six hits over four innings, striking out six.

A Vetter took the loss for Strasburg. The pitcher went four innings, allowing 18 runs on 14 hits and striking out four.

Eaton Softball -  JV tallied 14 hits in the game.  Morgan, Havel, and Mayzie Helzer each managed multiple hits for Eaton Softball -  JV.  Havel and Morgan each collected three hits to lead Eaton Softball -  JV.

Strasburg totaled six hits in the game.  B Baver and Vetter all managed multiple hits for Strasburg.  Baver went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Strasburg in hits.

Eaton Softball - JV Falls to Severance After Fourth Inning Score

Wednesday's game against Severance was a heartbreaker for Eaton Softball -  JV, as they lost the lead late in a 5-4 defeat.  The game was tied at four with Severance batting in the bottom of the fourth when.

Eaton Softball -  JV lost despite out-hitting Severance six to one.

Severance opened up scoring in the first inning when an error scored two runs for Severance.

Hinojosa was the winning pitcher for Severance. The bulldog went five innings, allowing three runs on six hits, striking out seven and walking one.

Elizabeth Johnson took the loss for Eaton Softball -  JV. The lefthander surrendered two runs on zero hits over two innings, striking out two.

 McKenzie Powell started the game for Eaton Softball -  JV. The righty surrendered three runs on one hit over three innings, striking out three

Jadeyn Lampe went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Eaton Softball -  JV in hits.  Eaton Softball -  JV tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Amelia Bowden led the way with three.

Wakkinen led Severance with one hit in one at bats.  Severance stole five bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Tafoya led the way with two.

Eaton Softball - JV Nabs Win Over Sterling Despite Early 5-Run Inning

Even though Eaton Softball -  JV gave up five runs in the third inning, they still defeated Sterling 18-7 on Saturday.  Au Reeves, D Palser,  A Steele, and T Dempsey powered the big inning with RBIs.

Both offenses were strong at the plate as Eaton Softball -  JV collected eight hits and Sterling four in the high-scoring affair

Stephanie Bingley pitched Eaton Softball -  JV to victory. The righthander surrendered two runs on two hits over two and a third innings, striking out three and walking zero.  McKenzie Powell threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

A Reeves took the loss for Sterling. The bulldog allowed three hits and ten runs over one inning, striking out three.

Eaton Softball -  JV totaled eight hits.  Sophie Morgan and Amelia Bowden all had multiple hits for Eaton Softball -  JV.  Bowden and Morgan each collected two hits to lead Eaton Softball -  JV.

Palser went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Sterling in hits.

Eaton Softball - JV Overcomes Weld Central In Face Of Early 6-Run Inning

Eaton Softball -  JV weathered a scare by Weld Central in the second inning where Eaton Softball -  JV coughed up six runs, but Eaton Softball -  JV still won 11-9 on Thursday.  Weld Central offense in the inning was led by #4, #14,  #16, and #5, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Eaton Softball -  JV collected nine hits and Weld Central had six in the high-scoring affair.

Eaton Softball -  JV opened up scoring in the first inning when Karli Havel doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.

Eaton Softball -  JV took the lead for good with six runs in the second inning.  In the second an error scored one run for Eaton Softball -  JV, Jadeyn Lampe lined out, driving in a run, an error scored one run for Eaton Softball -  JV, and Havel singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

McKenzie Powell got the win for Eaton Softball -  JV. The righthander allowed six hits and nine runs over four innings, striking out three.

#23 took the loss for Weld Central. The pitcher surrendered six runs on four hits over one inning.

Eaton Softball -  JV collected nine hits on the day.  Lina Cruz and Havel all had multiple hits for Eaton Softball -  JV.  Havel and Cruz each managed two hits to lead Eaton Softball -  JV.

Weld Central racked up six hits on the day.  #16 and #5 all managed multiple hits for Weld Central.

Five RBI Day for Amelia Bowden Leads Eaton Softball - JV Past University

Five runs batted in from Amelia Bowden helped lead Eaton Softball -  JV past University 22-7 on Tuesday.  Bowden drove in runs on a walk in the second, a double in the second, and a in the fourth.

University scored five runs in the third inning, but Eaton Softball -  JV still managed to pull out the victory.  University offense in the inning was led by Cassidy, Taryn, and Kyelin, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Eaton Softball -  JV got things started in the first inning when Jadeyn Lampe grounded out, scoring one run.

Eaton Softball -  JV tallied ten runs in the second inning.  Bowden, Lampe, Karli Havel, Zoe Lampe, and Bowden all drove in runs in the frame.

Stephanie Bingley was the winning pitcher for Eaton Softball -  JV. The pitcher lasted four innings, allowing three hits and seven runs while striking out three.

Nakita took the loss for University. undefined lasted one and one-third innings, allowing four hits and six runs while striking out two.

Eaton Softball -  JV totaled 13 hits.  Bowden, Lampe, Katherine Kuhn, and Elizabeth Johnson all managed multiple hits for Eaton Softball -  JV.  Johnson, Kuhn, Lampe, and Bowden each collected two hits to lead Eaton Softball -  JV.  Bowden led Eaton Softball -  JV with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with nine stolen bases.

Despite Strong Fight, Eaton Softball - JV Can't Top Roosevelt

Eaton Softball -  JV fought back after falling down by five runs in the fourth inning. The comeback fell just short though, in an 11-9 defeat to Roosevelt on Thursday.  Eaton Softball -  JV scored three runs in the failed comeback on a groundout by Mayzie Helzer, a single by Lina Cruz, and a double by Ayla Ritchey.

Eaton Softball -  JV was right in it until Roosevelt hit into a fielder's choice in the third inning.

In the first inning, Roosevelt got their offense started.  Roosevelt scored one run when Superior singled.

Eaton Softball -  JV scored six runs in the second inning.  Eaton Softball -  JV batters contributing to the big inning included Zoe Lampe, Amelia Bowden, Karli Havel, and Cruz, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Rosenthal was credited with the victory for Roosevelt. The ace went four innings, allowing nine runs on 12 hits and striking out seven.

Jaelyn  Montoya took the loss for Eaton Softball -  JV. The pitcher surrendered 11 runs on seven hits over four innings, striking out four.

Eaton Softball -  JV tallied 12 hits.  Cruz, Ritchey, and Havel each racked up multiple hits for Eaton Softball -  JV.  Havel, Ritchey, and Cruz all had three hits to lead Eaton Softball -  JV.

Roosevelt collected seven hits.  Rosenthal and Superior each managed multiple hits for Roosevelt.

Eaton Softball - JV Grabs Lead in Fourth Inning for Victory Over Brush

Eaton Softball -  JV snagged a late lead and defeated Brush 12-8 on Tuesday.  Eaton Softball -  JV trailed 7-6 in the top of the fourth inning when Mayzie Helzer homered on a 1-1 count, scoring three runs.

Both offenses were strong at the plate as Eaton Softball -  JV collected 13 hits and Brush five in the high-scoring affair

Brush opened up scoring in the first inning.

Brush scored four runs in the third inning.  #26 and #12 all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Stephanie Bingley earned the win for Eaton Softball -  JV. Bingley allowed five hits and eight runs over five innings, striking out three.

#3 took the loss for Brush. The bulldog lasted four innings, allowing ten hits and ten runs while striking out seven.

Eaton Softball -  JV socked one home run on the day. Helzer had a long ball in the fourth inning.

Eaton Softball -  JV tallied 13 hits.  Helzer, Sophie Morgan, Jadeyn Lampe, and Karli Havel all collected multiple hits for Eaton Softball -  JV.  Helzer went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Eaton Softball -  JV in hits.  Eaton Softball -  JV stole seven bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Lampe led the way with three.

#23 led Brush with two hits in two at bats.  #17 led Brush with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with eight stolen bases.

Eaton Softball - JV Clinches Lead in Fourth Inning to Defeat Brush

Eaton Softball -  JV stole the lead late in the game in a 15-9 victory over Brush on Tuesday.  The game was tied at eight with Eaton Softball -  JV batting in the bottom of the fourth when Sophie Morgan doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

Both pitching staffs had their hands full, frequently dealing with runners on base. Eaton Softball -  JV collected 13 hits and Brush had seven.

After Brush scored four runs in the top of the third, Eaton Softball -  JV answered with four of their own.  Brush scored when #23 singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs, #26 grounded out, scoring one run, and #17 grounded out, scoring one run.  Eaton Softball -  JV then answered when Jadeyn Lampe singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run and Lina Cruz doubled on a 2-0 count, scoring three runs.

Stephanie Bingley was credited with the victory for Eaton Softball -  JV. Bingley allowed seven hits and nine runs over five innings, striking out six.

#26 took the loss for Brush. undefined surrendered 15 runs on 13 hits over four innings.

Eaton Softball -  JV hit one home run on the day. Katie Hill went deep in the fourth inning.

Eaton Softball -  JV tallied 13 hits.  Ayla Ritchey, Lampe, and Cruz all collected multiple hits for Eaton Softball -  JV.  Lampe and Ritchey each collected three hits to lead Eaton Softball -  JV.

Brush collected seven hits.  #23 and #10 each had multiple hits for Brush.  #1 led Brush with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with five stolen bases.  Brush didn't commit a single error in the field. #8 had the most chances in the field with six.

Mayzie Helzer Drives in Four as Eaton Softball - JV Wins Over Strasburg

Mayzie Helzer was clutch at the plate with ducks on the pond on Saturday, driving in four on three hits to lead Eaton Softball -  JV past Strasburg 21-9 on Saturday.  Helzer drove in runs on a triple in the first, a single in the third, and a triple in the fourth.

An early lead helped propel Eaton Softball -  JV to victory.  Eaton Softball -  JV scored on a single by Karli Havel, a triple by Helzer, a fielder's choice by Lina Cruz, a single by Katie Hill, a double by Amelia Bowden, a single by Jadeyn Lampe, and a single by Havel in the first inning.

Strasburg scored four runs in the second inning.  Strasburg offense in the inning was led by A Vetter and #19, all driving in runs in the inning.

Jaelyn  Montoya was the winning pitcher for Eaton Softball -  JV. The pitcher allowed ten hits and nine runs over four innings, striking out four.

Vetter took the loss for Strasburg. The hurler allowed 21 hits and 21 runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out two.

Eaton Softball -  JV saw the ball well today, racking up 21 hits in the game.  Havel, Hill, Helzer, Bowden, Cruz, and Shea Bowden all managed multiple hits for Eaton Softball -  JV.  Havel went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Eaton Softball -  JV in hits.

A Rojahn led Strasburg with two hits in three at bats.
