Even though Eaton Softball - JV gave up five runs in the third inning, they still defeated Sterling 18-7 on Saturday. Au Reeves, D Palser, A Steele, and T Dempsey powered the big inning with RBIs.
Both offenses were strong at the plate as Eaton Softball - JV collected eight hits and Sterling four in the high-scoring affair
Stephanie Bingley pitched Eaton Softball - JV to victory. The righthander surrendered two runs on two hits over two and a third innings, striking out three and walking zero. McKenzie Powell threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.
A Reeves took the loss for Sterling. The bulldog allowed three hits and ten runs over one inning, striking out three.
Eaton Softball - JV totaled eight hits. Sophie Morgan and Amelia Bowden all had multiple hits for Eaton Softball - JV. Bowden and Morgan each collected two hits to lead Eaton Softball - JV.
Palser went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Sterling in hits.
