Six runs batted in from Sadie Ross helped lead Eaton Softball past Valley 19-2 on Thursday. Ross drove in runs on a home run in the first, a in the second, and a triple in the fourth.

Eaton got things started in the first inning. Ross homered on a 2-1 count, scoring three runs.

The Reds scored nine runs in the second inning. Eaton batters contributing to the big inning included Ali Schmitt, Blayke Duncan, Ross, and Yaritza Puente, all driving in runs in the frame.

Julia Meagher earned the win for the Reds. She allowed two hits and two runs over four innings, striking out one and walking one.

K Grant took the loss for Valley. She went two and two-thirds innings, allowing 14 runs on eight hits and striking out one.

Eaton tallied one home run on the day. Ross had a homer in the first inning.

The Reds collected 11 hits on the day. Ross and Puente all had multiple hits for Eaton. Puente and Ross each managed two hits to lead the Reds
