Eaton Softball jumped out to an early lead over Brush and took home a 7-1 victory on Tuesday. The Reds scored on a sacrifice fly by Sadie Ross and a home run by Yaritza Puente in the first inning.

Ross earned the victory in the pitcher's circle for Eaton. She went seven innings, allowing one run on seven hits, striking out 11 and walking one.

B Rule took the loss for Brush. She lasted six innings, allowing nine hits and seven runs while striking out two.

Eaton socked one home run on the day. Puente went for the long ball in the first inning.

Eaton totaled nine hits. Jenni Jarnagin and Puente each racked up multiple hits for Eaton Softball - Varsity. Puente and Jarnagin each collected two hits to lead the Reds. Eaton didn't commit a single error in the field. Puente had the most chances in the field with 11.

B Rule led Brush with two hits in four at bats.
