Sadie Ross didn't allow a single run as Eaton Softball - Varsity defeated Brush 13-0 on Tuesday. Ross allowed just two hits.
In the first inning, Eaton Softball - Varsity got their offense started. Eaton Softball - Varsity scored one run when Stephanie Bingley doubled.
Eaton Softball - Varsity tallied four runs in the sixth inning. Eaton Softball - Varsity offense in the inning was led by Emma Pinkstaff, Kiauna Smith, and Blayke Duncan, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
A single by Tadolini in the first inning was a positive for Brush.
Ross took the win for Eaton Softball - Varsity. Ross lasted six innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out nine and walking zero.
Unrein took the loss for Brush. The hurler lasted three and a third innings, allowing nine hits and eight runs while striking out two.
Eaton Softball - Varsity collected 15 hits. Smith, Bingley, Jaelyn Montoya, Duncan, Olivia Comer, and Pinkstaff each had multiple hits for Eaton Softball - Varsity. Smith went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Eaton Softball - Varsity in hits. Duncan led Eaton Softball - Varsity with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with four stolen bases. Eaton Softball - Varsity was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Zoe Hamilton had the most chances in the field with nine.
