Girls Varsity Softball

Eaton Softball Downs Fort Lupton, 6-1

Eaton Softball - Varsity got on the board in the second inning. Jaelyn Montoya drove in one when Montoya singled.
Eaton Softball - Varsity pulled away for good with one run in the third inning. In the third Kiauna Smith singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.
Eaton Softball - Varsity tallied three runs in the fourth inning. Eaton Softball - Varsity offense in the inning was led by Blayke Duncan, Julia Meagher, and Olivia Comer, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
Meagher got the win for Eaton Softball - Varsity. The pitcher went seven innings, allowing one run on four hits, striking out four and walking one.
T Fells took the loss for Fort Lupton. The hurler allowed five hits and six runs over five innings, striking out four.
Smith led Eaton Softball - Varsity with three hits in three at bats. Eaton Softball - Varsity was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. MacKenna Truax made the most plays with nine.
R Mendoza went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Fort Lupton in hits.
