Wrestling Team Finishes 2nd at State Tournament

The Reds Wrestling Team finished the 2019 season on a positive note. The Reds finished 2nd as a team for the second year in a row. The Reds sent 10 wrestlers to the state tournament and returned home with 4 state placers. Ty Garnhart brought home a state title at 170 lbs. with a hard fought sudden death victory in the championship match. Both Dylan Yancey (138 lbs.) and Toby Gavette (113 lbs.) made it to the finals but each came up just a little short in their bid to win individual titles. Dylan lost 7-3 and Toby lost 6-3. Jeremy Murano was the final placer for the Reds. He placed third at 285 lbs. Congratulations to the Reds on a great season!
